Founded in August of 2000 and based in San Francisco, Urbana SoftwareTM is led by Kaj Pedersen, Chairman, Michael Flaherty, President and
Founder, Todd Huss, CTO, and Douglas Wallace, Ph.D., Vice President
of Research. The management team collectively has more than
70 years of experience in enterprise software and hardware,
finance, management consulting and academic and applied psychological
research.
Prior to joining Urbana in November 2001, Kaj was vice
president and general manger for Terra Lycos' finance units,
Quote.com, Raging Bull and Small Business. Michael headed an
SAP consulting company, The Amber Group, and was previously
a systems engineer for SAP AG. Todd was CIO for Credit.com prior
to joining Urbana; he has also worked for IBM, Price Waterhouse
and The Amber Group, where he managed enterprise systems for
global brands. Dr. Wallace owns Soc-Sci Consulting, which facilitates
academic and applied psychological research. He conceived and
wrote the patent application for Urbana's Distractor Analysis
Technology®.
